Willy Chavarria’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, titled “AUTOEROTICA,” launched around early September 2026. The collection is presented as a celebration of eroticism, glamour, and personal freedom, aiming to challenge what is described as contemporary fashion’s ‘sanitized restraint’.
Chavarria explicitly drew inspiration from the 1970s, a decade he views as ‘wildly sexual’. This period was significant for women’s embrace of their sexuality, and Chavarria aims to make fashion ‘feel hot again’. The “AUTOEROTICA” collection promotes inclusivity, described as trans-positive, queer-positive, and radically inclusive, highlighting sexuality as an expression of identity, autonomy, and power.
The collection’s vision centers on the ‘WILLY WOMAN’, who is portrayed as intelligent, formidable, glamorous, and assertive, rather than passive or designed for external validation. Key design elements include intricate and strong silhouettes, powerful tailoring, and exaggerated proportions. Materials such as glossy leather are featured, alongside sharp tailoring and vivid colors. Specific items in the collection include silk dresses, voluminous cocktail silhouettes, pencil skirts worn over boxer shorts, cropped jackets, and leather miniskirts paired with utilitarian work shirts.
The “AUTOEROTICA” campaign features an inclusive cast of street-cast models, emphasizing diverse narratives. Photography for the campaign was handled by Diego Bendezu.
